My perspective on the article written in the Milwaukee Journal Sentienal (http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/watchdogreports/racial-gap-found-in-traffic-stops-in-milwaukee-ke1hsip-134977408.html) on Dec. 6th. Rises from a sense of responsibility for self and kind. Many concernd individuals in opposition of MPD tactics in fighting and reducing crime may view the report article from a sense of legality, but if so, Why hasn't anyone come forth to sue, or challenge the Milwaukee Police department tactics, or the city endorsement of the tactics in a court of law? Others say the tactics are racist, and I admit, maybe they are.
Consider this perspectived Black Milwaukee and other Black communities across this land. Considering the high crime rates prevailing in Black communities across this country one must ask themselves what is law enforcement to do? Law enforcement operates on what is called Modus Operandi (M.O.), or {The expression is often used in police work when discussing a crime and addressing the methods employed by the perpetrators. It is also used in criminal profiling,[2] where it can help in finding clues to the offender's psychology.[3] It largely consists of examining the actions used by the individual(s) to execute the crime, prevent its detection and/or facilitate escape.[1], from Wikipedia}.
Profiling is a science used to solve crimes. I'm not a police officer, but We as a People must look at our condition realistically within the context of the violent and criminal environment our communities are held hostage to. Most of our young Black males dress in the same manner, share the same driving mannerism...leaning to the right, with the back of the seat resting on the rear, at the same time the music is blasting, spinners spinning costing more than the value of the car.
Besides all these similarities the criminals perpetrating crimes, whatever they may be are Black youth too. I teach my boys to be aware of the degenerate and lawless elements in our community and when you are pulled over by law enforcement officers, they must take a defensive posture at every traffic stop for their safety and other law abiding citizens in the area. Because they want to go home at the end of the day, also.
We as a community should be more concerned about ridding our community of the criminal element next door. That is the M.O. some of us do not need a degree to point out to who is possibly a criminal.
STOP THE BLAME GAME BLACKMAN and TAKE CONTROL of YOURSELF, FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY.
